UNDERGRADUATE WORK
This studio project asked students to develop interior architectural space through evidence-based decision-making, site analysis, and iterative design methods. Working within a fixed building volume on Belle Isle in Detroit, students explored how natural forces, including daylight, acoustics, and circulation, can inform spatial organization. The project emphasized logical planning, accessibility, and the clear differentiation between public and private spaces, while discouraging form-making detached from interior intent. Through repeated iterations, diagramming, and precedent analysis, students learned to generate architectural form.
