GRADUATE STUDIOS

This project framed recurrent media strategies in order to identify and examine architectural phenomena. Students developed a series of physical assemblages which were cataloged through a photographic process. These images translated a variety of physical aspects - light, color, texture - into architectural phenomena through the juxtaposition of scale figures and strategic image cropping. These vignette studies became increasingly complex through iterative and revelatory processes which looked for opportunities for physical effects and architectural programs to productively coincide.
